Water Conservation -- Monday, June 21st at 7pm
The Conservation@Homer program helps homeowners use sustainable practices to conserve water resources! We need to reduce the amount of pure drinking water we are pouring on our lawns. By planting more native plants that do not need to be watered and catching rain in rain barrels we can significantly reduce the watering needed in our yards as well as increase habitat for birds and butterfl ies.
