Google Maps now lets you toggle between a street map and a satellite photo of an address or locale. Here we are! (For some reason, using "homer glen 60491" in the address puts us on the wrong side of Woodbine Golf Course and also pinpoints other libraries and the Will County Clerk, but "lockport 60441" gets the map right.) You can reposition a map or photo by dragging your mouse on the image. Because of certain construction sites, we can tell that the satellite shot of Homer Township is about 3 years old.

TerraServer-USA and TerraFly are two other sites where you can view satellite and aerial imagery. Neither of them recognizes Homer Glen or the 60491 ZIP code, though.
