HOLDS WILL RETURN IN EARLY APRIL
Area libraries will update the HAL online library catalog during the week of April 1 to April 7, 2007. As a result, there will be a three-week period from March 17 to April 8 when users will NOT be able to place holds on materials in the HAL catalog. The online library catalog will still be available throughout this period. Most other library services will continue uninterrupted during the April 1 to April 7 update.

Immediately after this update we will launch our new library catalog, PrairieCat. The new catalog will include resources from 198 libraries across northern Illinois and eastern Iowa with more than 8 million items for library users.
