Problem solving skills can be used to identify solutions and create opportunities. Learn how these skills can positively impact your future. Teens participating in ENERGY will receive credit for attending. Food will be served (thanks to Pepe's Restaurant in Homer Glen!) before the program begins.
Chick Lit Book Discussion Group -- Wednesday, March 26th at 7 pm
Join us to discuss Emily Giffin's "Something Borrowed." The Chick-Lit Book Discussion Group is fairly new and looking to expand -- new members are encouraged to join!
Teen Book Club -- Tuesday, April 1st at 7 pm
Join us to discuss Billie Letts' "Where the Heart Is" and talk about the other books you've been reading. Open to teens in 6th grade and up. New members are welcome!
**Born Colored -- Tuesday, April 1st at 7 pm
Listen as Erin Goseer Mitchell, author of the book Born Colored: Life Before Bloody Sunday, shares her experiences as an African-American girl growing up in the time before the Civil Rights Movement. Teens participating in ENERGY will receive credit for attending. Pizza will be served (thanks to Enzo's restaurant in Homer Glen!) before the program begins.
Senior Tax Help -- Wednesday, April 2nd from 9 am to noon
Stop by the Homer Township Public Library on Wednesday, April 2nd between 9am and 12pm for free tax help for seniors.
Jane Austen -- Wednesday, April 2nd at 7 pm
Learn about the life and works of famous British novelist Jane Austen.
**Child Identification Cards -- Saturday, April 5th from 11 am to 2 pm
Parents will be given Child Identification Cards for children up to 15 years old. Cards include medical information, thumb prints, and a photo of the child. Presented by the Will County Sheriff's Office.
