Senior Tax Help -- Wednesday, March 5th from 9 am - 12 noon
Stop by the library for free tax help for seniors. Can't make it on March 5th? Senior tax days will also be held on March 19th and April 2nd.

**Out With the Bad, In With the Good -- Wednesday, March 5th at 7 pm
Eliminate the "negatives" in your life! Learn how to live without unnecessary stress and how to focus on the positive side of every situation.

**We Care: Child Awareness and Rapid Escape -- Saturday, March 8th at 10 am
Children will learn the skills they need to physically, mentally, and emotionally defend themselves in dangerous situations with strangers. For children ages 5 and up.

**"Wesoly Lud" Polish Folk Dance Ensemble -- Sunday, March 9th at 4:30pm
This award-winning dance ensemble will perform a variety of dances in full costume. Their repertoire includes regional dance and vocal suites from Eastern Krakow, Lowicz, and other Polish regions.

Top Hat Bunny Craft -- Monday, March 10th at 4:30 pm
Children are invited to create an Easter bunny craft. Children 6 and under require adult help. The fee is $3 per child. To register, visit the circulation desk.

**Getting Your Child Ready for School and Life: 6-12 months --Monday, March 10th at 7 pm
Parents will learn practical, stimulating activities to do with their 6-12 month old children. Activities will be hands-on, developmentally appropriate, and fun. Presented by Alison Smith.

Mystery Book Discussion -- Monday, March 10th at 7 pm
Join us on to discuss Rhys Bowen's "In Dublin's Fair City." The Mystery Book Club is fairly new and looking to expand -- new members are encouraged to join!

Introduction to Word -- Tuesday, March 11th at 6:30 pm
A computer class for those with little or no experience with Word. The fee per class is $10.00 for Homer Township residents and $20.00 for non-residents. All fees are non-refundable. Registration is required. To sign up, visit the circulation desk.

**Use Your Voice -- Tuesday, March 11th at 7 pm
Learn how to create your own voice in oral storytelling. This event is a great way to become a fantastic public speaker! Teens participating in ENERGY will receive credit for attending. Pizza will be served (thanks to Chesdan's restaurant in Homer Glen!) before the program begins.

Diabetes Awareness Day Health Screening -- Wednesday, March 12th from 9 am to 12 noon
FREE adult diabetes blood screening, blood pressure screening, eye screening, information on diabetes care and nutrition, and a chiropractor and foot specialist on site! Sponsored by the Goodings Grove Lions Club, in recognition of Diabetes Awareness Month.

Prairiesmoke Writers Club -- Wednesday, March 12th at 7 pm
Stop by the monthly meeting of the library's writers group to discuss your work with other writers. New members are welcome!

**Art Excursions: Lost City of the Incas -- Friday, March 14th at 11:30 am
Travel back in time to visit the Incas! Discover Inca buildings, royal traditions, and religious rites. Presented by Jeff and Michelle Mishur of Art Excursions, Inc.
