Special Event! Diabetes Awareness Day Health Screening: Wednesday, March 12th
Join us for Diabetes Awareness Day this Wednesday, March 12 at the Homer Library!
This free event is sponsored by the Goodings Grove Lions Club. Visit the library for blood pressure and diabetic screens, and loads of information from 9 to noon. We are specifically targeting all ages of adults, since studies show that “diabetes is the fifth deadliest disease in the United States and one in every four American has either diabetes or pre-diabetes.” Pick up a folder of information and take a quick pre-test or screen this Wednesday at Homer Library!
