**Teen Teambuilding Challenge -- Saturday, May 17th from 9-11 am or 11-1 pm
Join us for a series of fun teambuilding challenges with other teens! We'll be doing a series of activities that require teamwork, trust, communication, and problem-solving skills (kind of like the TV show Survivor, without being stuck on an island). This event will be held outdoors (weather permitting) so please dress appropriately! Also, because of the physical nature of this event, a parent or guardian must sign liability waivers (available at the library) in order to participate. Space is limited, and registration is required. Open to teens in 6th grade and up. Teens participating in Energy will receive credit for attending this event. Call (708) 301-7908 or email Heather Colby at hcolby@homerlibrary.org to register.

Mother's Day Kids Craft -- Monday, May 5th at 7 pm

The library is now accepting book donations for our first ever Used Book Sale, to be held on August 15th and 16th! If you have gently used books that you would like to donate to this event, please drop them off at the library during open hours. We are accepting all donations except National Geographic magazine, encyclopedias published before 2003, and items in poor condition. Thank you for your help in making this event a success!
