Bring your yarns and needles and join the library's monthly knitting club! Meet other knitters and view each other's projects. The group meets on the third Tuesday of every month.

Get Credit for Life -- Tuesday, September 23d at 7pm
This two part workshop will offer information on how to establish, maintain, and improve your credit. Learn the biggest financial mistakes people make and how to overcome them. Part two of the workshop is on Tuesday, September 30th. Patrons are encouraged to attend both sessions, but it is not required. Presented by Joe Stanfa of Blue Sky Lending Corporation.

Discuss the latest trends in technology. Open to teens in 6th grade and up.

Join us as we talk about the manga books we've been reading and discuss ideas for future meetings. Open to teens in 6th grade and up.

Help us plan and promote upcoming events, such as the Halloween party and the mitten drive! Open to teens in 6th grade and up.

Eat Scooby snacks, make a craft, and watch a Scooby and the Gang mystery. For children ages 5-10. Space is limited and registration is required.

Calling all kids in grades 2-5! Travel to faraway lands and explore foods and customs from other countries around the world. First stop: France! The Culture Club will also meet on October 25 (Italy) and November 22 (Turkey). Space is limited and registration is required.

The library will have booths at the Homer Township Chamber of Commerce Community Expo! Stop by to learn more about both the library and the Friends of the Library and get some goodies, too! The Expo is on Saturday, September 20th from 9-2pm at Hadley School (15731 S Bell Rd). The Bookmobile will also be on site, so stop by and say hello!

Did you know that there are multiple ways to register to vote? You can register at the library, but please call ahead (708-301-7908) to make sure a registrar is in the building. You'll need to bring two forms of ID: one with your name and current address, the second with your name. You can also register by filling out a mail-in application found here. But remember, the last day to register to vote in the November election is Tuesday, October 7, so don't wait!
