Mystery Book Club -- Monday, September 8th at 7pm

Join us as we discuss "Sanctuary Hill" by Kathryn R Wall. New members are welcome!

Homer Horizon Community Meeting -- Tuesday, September 9th at 7pm

Learn more about the Homer Horizon's online community, the 22nd Street Team, through hands-on training. Homer Horizon editors will also be available to answer any questions about the newspaper or HomerHorizon.com.

Prairiesmoke Writers Group -- Wednesday, September 10th at 7pm

Stop by the monthly meeting of the library's writers group to discuss your work with other writers. New members are welcome!

Friends of the Library Meeting -- Thursday, September 11th at 7pm

All Friends of the Library (or those interested in becoming a Friend!) are invited to the monthly Friends meeting at the library. We'll be discussing future projects, so we'd love to hear your input!

Arm Chair Travelers: China -- Friday, September 12th from 1:30 - 3pm

Michael Gauer will take you on a trip to China, where you'll see the many hidden wonders and fascinating sights of this ancient country. Refreshments will be provided.

TEENS

Teen Book Club -- Tuesday, September 2nd at 7pm

Join us as we discuss Maureen Johnson's "13 Little Blue Envelopes" and any other books you've been reading! For teens in 6th grade and up.

Show Your Library Card and Receive Discounts!

September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month! To celebrate, various businesses in the Homer Glen community are offering discounts when you show your Homer Library card. To view a list of these businesses and discounts, click here! If you don't have a library card, you can get one by stopping at the circulation desk or by filling out the online application found here.

Sunday Hours Resume on September 7th

The library Sunday hours will resume on Sunday, September 7th. We will be open from 4-8pm each Sunday through Memorial Day (excluding holidays). See you soon!
