* "Created Equal" Reading Program Ends Nov. 25th

You still have time to enter the We the People "Created Equal" reading program and contests! The deadline for the program is Tuesday, November 25th. The program, open to Homer Library patrons, has three separate parts (of which participants only need to complete one):

(1) the reading program for grades K-12, in which participants read three "Created Equal" books assigned to their grade level (a list of which can be found by clicking the "program descriptions and book lists" link below) and fill out a short review form.

(2) the essay contest for grades 4-12, in which participants complete an essay describing "What does 'Created Equal' mean to me?"

(3) the bookmark contest for grades K-5, in which participants draw an original picture expressing what the phrase "Created Equal" means to them, using the official bookmark form.

Upon completion, each participant will receive a raffle ticket for the grand prize drawing! Additional guidelines and information, including official entry forms, can be found at the library or by clicking on the following links: program description and book lists, book review form, and bookmark and essay contest entry forms.

These programs were made possible by a major gift awarded to the Homer Township Public Library through the We the People Bookshelf national grant project.
