Introduction to PowerPoint -- Thursday, November 13th at 7pmParticipants will be introduced to a few of the basic functions of Microsoft PowerPoint 2003. You will be shown how to create a new presentation and save, open a presentation and modify, select text and modify, and print. Handouts with additional exercises will be given for home use. This class is free, but space is limited and registration is required. Registration begins at 6:00 pm on the day of the class, and must be done in person at the circulation desk.
Armchair Travelers: Slovenia and Croatia -- Friday, November 14th from 1:30 to 3pm
Frank Klicar of the Society of American Travel Writers will guide you through Slovenia and Croatia. You'll be captivated by the beautiful landscape, charming people, and more! Light refreshments will be served.

KIDSCulture Club: Turkey -- Saturday, November 22nd from 10 - 11:30 amCalling all kids in grades 2-5! Travel to faraway lands and explore foods and customs from other countries around the world. Next stop: Turkey! Space is limited and registration is required.
