Homer Township Public Library

From November 3rd to 30th, Homer Library patrons can pay off library fines with food instead of cash! Bring in one non-perishable food item and we'll waive $1 off existing fines or returned overdues. Paying for late fess for InterLibrary Loan items and replacement fees of lost items is not included in this offer. Up to $20 in overdue fines will be waived for each donation from the following list of acceptable items:

+ 8 oz. or more can of fruits or vegetables
+ 6 oz. or more can of meat, fish, or poultry
+ 10.5 oz or more can of soup (no packaged soup or ramen, please)
+ 1 box pasta, rice, or dried beans
+ 12 oz. or more box of cereal
+ 8 oz. or more jar of peanut butter

Offer valid only during the month of November. All donated food will be given to local food banks for distribution. "Food for Fines" is sponsored by the Homer Library's Youth Advisory Committee. Thank you for your support!
