Senior Tax Assistance -- Wednesday, March 25th from 9am-12pm and Wednesday, April 1st from 9am-12pmThe Senior Services Center of Will County will be providing free tax services at the library. Walk-in basis only, with no appointment necessary (first come, first served). Can't make it? The final Tax Assistance day will also be held on April 15th.
QuickBooks Lecture -- Wednesday, March 25th at 7pmThis seminar will teach the small business owner how to set up their company books on the computer using the accounting package QuickBooks. Topics covered will include how to set up a company file and an industry specific chart of accounts, along with the basics of how to perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions within QuickBooks. Additional topics that will be covered include bank reconciliations and how to backup and store your data.
Timeless Brunch Recipes -- Tuesday, March 31st at 7pmChef Michael Niksic will share his recipes for banana battered french toast, black bean salsa, and sun dried tomato chive hollandaise. Participants will get to sample each food!

KIDSJan's Clan Puppet Show -- Wednesday, March 25th at 10:30am at Hadley SchoolLet's rock and roll at Jan Clan's Puppet Show! This musical variety show is filled with an amazing assortment of 8 different characters performing popular songs! This event is being held at Hadley School, and admission is free. Registration is not required, so bring the whole family!
Lego Time -- Tuesday, March 31st from 4:30 - 5:30pmBuild your own Lego design to display in the library! All ages are welcome to participate. Legos will be provided.

Visit the Homer Township Public Library on Tuesday, March 24th to explore what's new at the library! The schedule is as follows:

1:00 - 3:00pm: Bookmobile Open House
1:30pm: Internet Safety for kids in grades K-2
2:30pm: Internet Safety for kids in grades 3-6
3:00: Library tour for kids (including a behind-the-scenes look at the library!)
4:00: Library tour for kids (including a behind-the-scenes look at the library!)
6:30 - 8:30pm: Rock Band
6:30 - 8:30pm: Nintendo Wii
6:30pm: Internet Safety for kids in grades K-2
6:30 - 8:30pm (ongoing): Library tour for all patrons (including a behind-the-scenes look at the library!)
7:00pm: Internet Safety for kids in grades 3-6
7 - 8:00pm: Microsoft Office 2007: We'll be showcasing our new computer class laptops which are equipped with Microsoft Office 2007.
