ADULTS & SENIORS

eBay for Beginners -- Tuesday, April 14th at 7pm
Interested in selling items on eBay? Learn the basics of selling items on the popular auction site, including creating an account, writing appealing item descriptions, and more.

Adult Book Discussion -- Wednesday, April 15th at 7:30pm
Join us as we discuss The Stolen Child by Keith Donohue. Books are available at the library for check out. New members are encouraged to attend!

Armchair Travelers: Spain & Morocco -- Friday, April 17th at 1:30pm
Sonia Lawrentz will guide you on a tour of Southern Spain & Morocco. Explore the Costa del Sol, historic Seville, and the bullfighting in Malaga. Then cross the Strait of Gibraltar to discover Moroccan architecture and communities. Light refreshments will be served.

Knitting Group -- Tuesday, April 21st at 7pm
Bring your yarns and needles and join the library's monthly knitting club! Meet other knitters and view each other's projects. The group meets on the third Tuesday of every month.

Investing for Your Future in Today's Market -- Wednesday, April 22nd at 6:30pm
Learn how today’s economy affects everyone in the household. Bring the entire family to this event and take a look at today’s economic environment and the impact on your investments. Learn what you should do today and how you should invest for the future. While adults participate in this informative session, children are invited to join Junior Achievement of Chicago’s financial literacy and economic programs. Topics include Basic Banking Services, Basic Finance (Youth), Budgeting and Saving, Investing and Saving.

TEENS

Teen Manga Group -- Thursday, April 16th at 6:30pm
It's movie night, so we'll be watching an anime film and eating popcorn! Please note that the movie begins at 6:30pm (instead of at our regular meeting time of 7pm) and ends at 8:30pm, so if you are getting picked up, please make sure that your ride is here at 8:30pm! Open to teens in 6th grade and up.

KIDS

Culture Club: Peru -- Saturday, April 25th from 10 - 11:30am
Travel to faraway lands and explore food and customs from Peru! For children in grades 2 - 5. Space is limited, so registration is required. To register, call (708) 301-7908.

Mother's Day Craft -- Tuesday, April 21st at 4:30pm
Create a Mother's Day flowerpot! children 6 and under require adult help. There is a $3 fee. To register, call (708) 301-7908.

Upcoming! Training to be Top Dog -- Thursday, April 30th at 7pm
Presenter Alex Brooks will cover behavior-related issues including how to train an aggressive, timid, or overactive dog; basic commands; ending excessive barking; leash training; tips for purchasing a dog; the differences between pet shops; private breeders and shelter dogs; understanding your dogs; understanding your dog's body language; and how to introduce a new dog into the home or to an existing dog. No pets please!
