Databases for Job Searching and Resume Building
Did you know that Homer Library patrons have access to databases that can assist those who are searching for a new job? The Learning Express Library database offers self paced tutorials on topics such as job searching skills, creating resume and cover letters, and interviewing. Users can also find career information and practice tests for a variety of occupations. The Coin Career Library database offers a simple resumer builder and information such as average Illinois salaries and occupational outlooks. To access these (and other!) library databases, click on the "Find It Online!" link located in the column on the left side of the library's home page, or just click here! Users may need their library barcode number (found on the back of your Homer Library card) to access these databases from home. Have questions about the library's databases? Contact the Reference Department at (708) 301-7908!

For more information on library programs, contact (708) 301-7908 or email Heather Colby at hcolby@homerlibrary.org.
