Teen Advisory Board Meeting -- Thursday, January 14th at 7pmTeens in grades 9-12 are invited to attend the library's Teen Advisory Board meetings! Share your input on upcoming projects and programs, and have some fun while doing so! Members will receive volunteer hours for attending TAB meetings (you'll get snacks, too!). New members are welcome!

In-person registration for all programs begins on Tuesday, January 19th at 8:30 am, and telephone registration begins at noon on that same day. We hope to see you and your family at a program soon!
Energy 2010: A Teen Leadership AcademyApplications are now available for the 2010 session of Energy: A Teen Leadership Academy! Interested teens can pick one up at the library or print one out from home by clicking
here. This award-winning academy aims to help create youth leaders who will assume leadership roles throughout the community. Teens will commit to attending three library programs (on topics such as college preparation and communication skills) and fulfill a service requirement at the library. Participation in this academy will look impressive on college applications and resumes, and it's also fun! Energy is open to teens in grades 9-12. Applicants do not have to be residents of Homer Township. The deadline for applications is February 15, 2009.
