KIDSYouth Activity Committee -- Wednesday, April 27th at 4:30pmThe Youth Activity Committee (YAC) is a fun group for kids in grades 5-8 that undertakes projects and volunteers for community events. New members are always welcome. Reminder post cards will be mailed to members monthly.
No Moms Allowed -- Thursday, May 5th at 7pmMoms can enjoy an evening away from the kids on this special day with dad. Dads can help make a special craft and card for Mother's Day. Enjoy some yummy snacks while you create a memory for mom! All aged children allowed with dad! Registration required.

MORE INFOOur Chicks Are Here! On Easter Sunday, we discovered that 13 of our eggs had hatched! We are now housing (for the next two weeks) our baby chicks. You can see them by stopping by the library or by viewing the live feed from home by clicking
here. Visit us by May 1st and you can suggest a name for the chicks! It's an eggs-citing time here at the Homer Library!
Teen Intern Program: Sign Up Begins May 16thNeed service hours? Interested in volunteering in your community? Become a Teen Intern at the library this summer! Applications will be available online (a link will be on our website) beginning Monday, May 16th.The Teen Intern Program is open to teens in 6th grade and up (as of Fall 2011). Shifts are usually limited to 1-3 hours per week (from June 13 through July 23) and schedules are on a first come, first served basis. Interns participate in various Summer Reading Program activities of their choosing, such as the reading desk & helping with various childrens programming.Have questions about the Teen Intern Program?
