ADULTS & SENIORS

Adult Movie -- Friday, May 6th at 1pm
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the library while watching a film on our big screen. Please call the library at (708) 301-7908 for movie title and length.

Prairiesmoke Writers Group -- Wednesday, May 11th at 7pm
Stop by the monthly meeting of the library's writers group! You're invited to discuss your work with other writers and have fun with some group writing assignments. New members are welcome! Writers of all levels are encouraged to attend. Registration is not required.

Armchair Travelers: Turkey -- Friday, May 13th at 1:30pm
Al Popowits takes you on a guided tour of Turkey. You will visit vast underground cities, churches of the Goreme Valley, the ancient ruins of Aphrodisias, Perge, and Ephesus and the city of Istanbul. A light refreshment will be served.

TEENS

Teen Book Club -- Tuesday, May 3rd at 7pm
Our selection for this month is Confessions of the Sullivan Sisters by Natalie Standiford! New members are welcome!

Teen Movie -- Wednesday, May 4th at 6:30pm
Bring your friends to the library for special teen-only showings! Enjoy popcorn while watching the best teen movies on our big screen. Please call the library for the movie titles and length. For teens in 6th grade and up.

Teen Advisory Board Meeting -- Thursday, May 12th at 7pm
Join us as we discuss the library's teen programming, including book club, crafts, & movies! For teens in grades 9-12.

KIDS

No Moms Allowed -- Thursday, May 5th at 7pm
Moms can enjoy an evening away from the kids on this special day with dad. Dads can help make a special craft and card for Mother's Day. Enjoy some yummy snacks while you create a memory for mom! All aged children allowed with dad! Registration required.

Culture Club: Islands of the Bahamas -- Saturday, May 7th from 10am-noon
These hidden islands come in the form of small remote villages with a simple way of life. Join our adventure to some of the world's most stunning beaches and dive sites. Grades 3 and up. Registration required.

We will be offering four brand new Bookmobile stops during the summer months. The new stops are as follows:

WOODBINE WEST
Location: Near Margust Lane and Renmore Road
Time: Tuesday from 4:15 - 4:50pm
Dates: May 31, June 14, June 28, July 12, July 26, August 9, August 23

LANCASTER
Location: Near Lancaster and Chestnut Lane
Time: Wednesday from 4:15 - 4:50pm
Dates: June 1, June 15, June 29, July 13, July 27, August 10, August 24

THUNDER HILL
Location: Near Blackhawk and Cheyenne Court
Time: Tuesday from 4:15 - 4:55pm
Dates: June 7, June 21, July 5, July 19, August 2, August 16, August 30

STONEBRIDGE WOODS
Location: Near Stonebridge Drive and Breanne Lane
Time: Thursday from 4:15 - 4:55pm
Dates: June 9, June 23, July 7, July 21, August 4, August 18
